Dronamics appoints General Manager Australia

Dronamics has announced the appointment of Gavin Gomes as General Manager, Dronamics Australia and a member of the senior management team, effective August 1st, as the company prepares to strengthen its presence in the Asia Pacific region.

Gavin’s passion for aviation and extensive leadership experience will help further establish Dronamics in Australia, a market where the company has had a presence since 2020. In 2022, Dronamics received approval to conduct experimental test flights with a sub-scale prototype of its flagship, remotely-piloted aircraft, the Black Swan. The same year, Dronamics signed a manufacturing agreement with Quickstep Holdings Limited (ASX: QHL), the largest independent aerospace composite business in Australia, to help scale up its fleet and meet the growing demand for its cargo mobility services.

Svilen Rangelov, Co-Founder and CEO of Dronamics said

“Australia has demonstrated an enormous appetite for what Dronamics can offer - faster, more affordable, lower emissions freight, connecting underserved and remote communities and businesses through cargo drone logistics. We are committed to serving the needs of the local market and we are thrilled to have Gavin’s experience and expertise to support that.’’

Gavin Gomes, General Manager, Dronamics Australia said

"Dronamics' commitment to transforming the future of cargo delivery through drone technology is both inspiring and groundbreaking. I look forward to leading a team of dedicated professionals and collaborating with stakeholders to drive Dronamics' growth and contribute to the advancement of the Australian logistics and aviation industry."
